Louise Jackson, 96 and mother of Dr Holland Jackson, directed WW II Red Cross efforts in what was the library
reading room.Her group of volunteers rolled bandages and boxed other medical supplies for shipment to the front.
It was her first time to see the transformation of the second floor into the artists living quarters.
