"Art,
culture, the ambience of a bygone era and
the intrigue of the artist’s life style;
the former Carnegie
Library in Barnesville is more than an historic treasure,
It is an experience.
"
From
Cara:
I
am an artist and a poet and my business is creating scenes whether it is on
canvas, on paper, or creating an environment. I lavished much care in the
restoration of this beautiful Georgian Revival building and the surrounding
property.
It’s
golden oak
columns, oak entablature, unusual curved staircase and leaded glass and
Palladian windows
provide a reflection of the past that can’t be replaced.
I created an artist’s haven, one of total visual illusion and brimming
with culture. It offers the elegant ambience of the early 1900’s yet it is
uniquely
eclectic to suit an artist'
needs. The
property offers something for everyone:
history,
architecture,
restoration, gardens, art, music and literature.
It has been featured in numerous news articles,

Georgia Journal Magazine,
Southern Living Magazine and  featured on  HGTV.
Intrigue
is the word, from your  ride into the sunset to a glass of wine
and hors d'oeuvres in my sculpture garden.
Absorb
the artistic ambience
with a private tour of my studio and living area.
Then envelope your guests with  music, art, lights and poetry at
your private presentation of “Folded Wings,” an awe inspiring cultural
event.
This
powerful performance  is
only twenty-five minutes in length  and is
appreciatively understood by all.
The rewarding  part for me is the lively discussions that  always
follow the
performance.
 Let me
work with you to design a unique and private cultural evening for you and your
guests. Peruse
the photos and information offered below. I look forward to discussing your
perfect evening of entertainment. Thank You for your interest .
Sincerely,
Cara,
artist
and poet
